How to Plan for a Litter of Puppies!
First, a dam (female) must have a heat cycle, and mate (conceive) with a sire (male).
Once the dam has conceived, the pups will be born (whelped) on average 63 days from conception (mating).
When the pups are born (whelped) they will be ready to go to their new families at nine to ten weeks old.
For example, if a dam mates (conceives) on January 15, 2026, she should whelp
on or around March 19, 2026. The pups should go to their new families at nine weeks old on or around May 21, 2026.
Roughly four months from conception to new families!

Mating planned for April 2026. This would be Mia's first litter. Expect Sable, Red and White and Tri Color pups!
Peaches and Georgie Porgie
Mating planned for March 2026. This would be Peaches first litter. Expect Red and White and Tri Color pups.
Callie Lula and Toby The Lowrider
