We handle our pups several times a day and they are raised with a ton of love and passion. Because they are home-raised, our purebred Pembroke Corgi puppies will have a special bond with you that’s unlike buying a puppy from an average breeder, puppy mill or puppy store.

Breeding the heathiest AKC Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies. We offer a two-year health guarantee. All of our adults are genetically tested prior to mating to ensure our Corgi puppies are of the highest quality. Our adult dogs have OFA Certificates on hips, elbows and eyes.
HOME-RAISED
Our puppies are home-raised, and are members of our family until they join their forever homes. We have a dedicated whelping room and two dedicated nurseries in our home, so we are always near our puppies as they grow and develop.
What Is a Puppy Questionnaire,
Puppy Waitlist and How to Secure a Spot on the Puppy Waitlist
Starting January 1, 2026 a $300. deposit (non-refundable) will be required to be placed on the Puppy Waitlist
Purchasing a puppy through Pembrokes of Walnut Creek involves a waitlist system to manage puppy placement in new homes fairly.
The following bullet points explains how the completion date of a Puppy Questionnaire determines placement on a first come, first served waitlist, ensuring transparency and fairness in puppy placement.
• Purpose of the Puppy Questionnaire: You must complete the Puppy Questionnaire to start the process of securing a spot on the Puppy Waitlist and ultimately purchasing a puppy!
The questionnaire collects detailed information about prospective owners’ lifestyles, pet experience, and expectations to match puppies with suitable homes and ensure compatibility with the breed’s temperament and needs.
• First Come, First Served System: Applicants receive the questionnaire, complete it, and return it by mail or online. The date the completed questionnaire is received sets the applicant’s position on the waitlist, with secondary factors used only if multiple questionnaires arrive on the same day. This system promotes transparency and fairness.
• Advantages of Using the Questionnaire Date: This method ensures equal treatment of applicants, simplifies the process, encourages prompt submission, and streamlines administrative tasks, making the waitlist efficient and easy to understand.
• Waitlist Management and Communication: After receiving the questionnaire, I conduct an interview to discuss your lifestyle, environment, puppy preferences, timeline and confirm you and your family's commitment to your new corgi puppy. I will let you know either verbally or by email if you are approved. The Waitlist Deposit of $300 is requested at this time to secure your spot. The Waitlist Deposit of $300 is active for two years from the time of deposit. If no puppy is selected within two years, the buyer forfeits the $300.
The $300 Waitlist Deposit can be used as a reservation deposit once a puppy is selected and the $300 is subtracted from the purchase price.
Applicants are contacted in order (date on the questionnaire) once a litter is born and given 2 hours to respond. Since keeping tails on the pups is an option, delays in communication can create problems, as pups must have their tails docked within 4 days of birth. Once you are contacted you need to select a pup from photos and videos otherwise, the next person in line is contacted. Exceptions may be made for repeat clients or special cases but are typically disclosed upfront.

As a prospective owner, you have a responsibility to engage actively with me. Communication is the backbone of this process, ensuring that you receive timely updates about dam and sire breeding, puppy availability, health news, and other essential information. In turn, I rely on your responsiveness to make informed decisions and to guarantee that every puppy is matched with a loving, committed family.
Should you need to remove yourself from the puppy waitlist, I would appreciate, as it is a common courtesy, you give me a call, text, email or Facebook Message to let me know you need to be removed.
The puppy adoption process depends on mutual effort. If you repeatedly do not respond to attempts by me to contact you—whether by phone, text, email, or social media—you will be removed from the waitlist. I need to be able to count on future puppy owners to be reachable and engaged. If communication breaks down, it signals potential challenges (RED FLAGS) ahead on so many levels and will prompt me to move forward with other families who demonstrate stronger commitment.
·Removal from Waitlist
Non-responsiveness is grounds for removal from the puppy waitlist. I will typically make several attempts to reach you before taking this step, but a consistent lack of a reply will result in your application being discontinued.
No Exceptions: The policy is firm; if you do not return calls, texts, emails, or Facebook messages, you WILL be removed from the waitlist. This measure helps ensure fairness and efficiency in the puppy placement process.
Reapplication: If you are removed and wish to join the waitlist, you may need to complete a new questionnaire and begin the process anew, subject to my discretion.
Pembrokes of Walnut Creek Pricing
Our puppies are Purebred AKC Registered Pembroke Welsh Corgis sold without breeding rights as AKC Limited Registration for $2,250. *
If a breeding program meets our specific standards, we will sell a pup with AKC full breeding rights at $4,000. to $4,500.* depending on the dam and sire.
Our Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies can go to their forever homes between 9 and 10 weeks, depending on maturity. We give their 2nd round of booster vaccinations before they go home for just an added level of protection. Their vaccination schedule will be sent home with you as well as their health record to make sure you can stay on track with their vaccinations and deworming. The pups are also microchipped with an AKC Reunite Microchip.
As soon as you take possession of your puppy, your information is entered into AKC puppy records for you to receive your puppy's AKC Registration Certificate in the mail from AKC. The AKC Reunite Microchip lifetime registration is also included with the pre-paid registration!

If you are ready to make the commitment to a puppy you will be placed on the Puppy Waitlist. We use the date you returned the Puppy Questionnaire in a first come, first served manner in choosing your puppy. The earlier you complete and return the Puppy Questionnaire the better your chances of you joining the Puppy Waitlist and choosing a puppy.

Bring Your New Puppy Home
Make a Deposit & reserve your corgi
We are one of the few full fluffy AKC Pembroke Welsh Corgi breeders that offer to keep the tail intact. Your puppy must be chosen three days after birth. They must be chosen at that time as the traditional docking must take place four day after they are born. A $300 reservation through personal check, USPS money order, Venmo or Zelle is accepted to reserve your new fluffy best friend.
the arrival of your new puppy
Once your deposit has been made, you'll get regular updates on how your puppy is blossoming and growing. Every Sunday you will receive videos, photos, live calls and other updates so you start to bond with your new fluffy Corgi. Puppies can go home around 9 - 10 weeks, after they have received their second booster vaccination, de-worming, AKC Reunite Microchip and they've had their final health screening with a licensed Missouri veterinarian and received the Small Animal Health Certificate.
After you take possession of your puppy, your information is entered into AKC puppy records for registration, and you will receive your AKC Registration Certificate in the mail from AKC. The AKC Registration includes the AKC Reunite Microchip lifetime registration also!
Puppy Delivery Options
pickup in Missouri
We work with each new buyer to make sure ease of pick-up and delivery is stress free. If you are in a bordering state to Missouri, we offer to meet you about half-way as long as you are in within about a 6-hour driving radius. A small fee of $100 is requested for travel.
pickup at the airport
If you want to fly in to pick up your new Corgi puppy, we will meet you at Kansas City International Airport with your new puppy and puppy bag with everything you need for you to start your new Corgi adventure. A small fee of $100 is requested for travel to the airport.
puppy nanny
We offer a flight nanny service to carry-on your new puppy during a domestic flight. We will refer you to a flight nanny and you can work with the flight nanny directly to bring your new Pembroke Welsh Corgi home. A small fee of $100 is requested to travel to the airport.
